Afghanistan announce 15 man squad for World Cup

Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has announced 15 man squad for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup. The Afghan Tigers will start the grand tournament as Darkhorse. The world cup is scheduled to start from May 30 in England and Wales.

Gulbadin Naib will lead the Afghan side. Just a few weeks ago, Asghar Afghan was sacked as captain. Sensational Rashid Khan along with experienced Mohammad Nabi and Mujeeb ur Rehman will hold the key in the bowling department. Wicketkeeper Mohammad Shahzad, Asghar Afghan along with Samiullah Shinwari will be looking to give their side solidity in batting.
