Gyanendra finds his form, Nepal win fourth practice match

Nepal defeated East London Sharks by 134 runs in their last and fourth practice match of the ongoing Europe Tour. Earlier, Nepal had lost their second practice match while registered win in first and third practice match.

Having lost the toss and invited to bat first, Nepal finished on 251/4 from the allotted 20 overs. Vice captain Gyanendra Malla found back his form as he top scored with 75 runs. Skipper Paras Khadka and Dipendra Singh Airee scored 67 runs each for Nepal.

Chasing a target of 252 runs, the local side could manage mere 117/9 from their 20 overs.Taqi Abbas was the top scorer for them with 32 runs. Sandeep Lamichhane was the pick of the bowlers for Nepali side as hegave away just 2 runs picking up 3 wickets with 1 maiden. Lalit Rajbanshi picked up 2 wickets while Karan KC, Dipendra Singh Airee and Sharad Veswakar shared a wicket each.

Nepal will now play T20 against MCC and the Netherlands on July 28 and two ODI against the Netherlands on August 1st and 3rd.
