Nathan Dodd joins Pokhara Rhinos as head coach
Pokhara Rhinos have signed up with Nathan Dodd, a celebrated Australian coach to mentor their players in the highly awaited Everest Premier League 2018. He will be the team’s Head Coach.
Mr. Dodd has a High Performance (Level 3) Coaching Accreditation from Cricket Australia, and has an outstanding career track-record. He has championed teams in many international cricketing events has worked for some of Australia’s premier coaches in Justin Langer and Phil Jaques.
He is currently a Consultant Development Coach for the NSW Blues and the Senior Assistant Coach for the Australian Cricket Team for players with an Intellectual Disability in 2017 & 2018. He was also the Head Coach for Northern Territory Women’s and Indigenous Women’s team in 2016.
He has a strong T20 coaching record and was the Senior Assistant Coach for Sandgate – Redcliffe, a cricket team that went on to win the coveted KFC Queensland State T20 Premier League in 2017 and 2018.
Mr. Dodd said he is looking forward to coming to Nepal in December. “I will be doing my best to enhance the performance and development of the already talented players of Pokhara Rhinos and help them unleash their potential”, Mr. Dodd added.
Everest Premier League will be played in Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kathmandu in December, and 6 teams representing various cities of Nepal will contest for the trophy. It is one of the most followed sporting events of Nepal.
