Pant and Chahar stars as India complete clean sweep
India completed 3-0 clean sweep over West Indies in the ongoing T20 Series after winning the last match by 7 wickets. Rishabh Pant and Deepak Chahar were the star performers for India in the last match of the series.
Having won the toss and elected to field first, India restricted West Indies to 146/6 in the first innings. Kieron Pollard was the top scorer for the Carribean side as he scored 58 runs from 45 balls before getting bowledd to Saini. Pollard's innings included 1 four and 6 sixes. Powell played a 20 ball 32 cameo with a four and 2 sixes and remained unbeaten.
Deepak Chahar was the pick of the bowlers for India as he finished with the figures of 4-3 from 3 overs. Navdeep Saini bagged 2 wickets while Rahul Chahar picked up a wicket.
India in reply lost Shikhar Dhawan early for 3 runs while the other opener KL Rahul scored a 18 ball 20. Rishabh Pant and Virat Kohli added 106 runs for third wicket to bring India back to the game. Virat scored 59 runs while Pant blasted 65 runs from 42 balls with 4 fours and 4 sixes.
